By using this website you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out below. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety you must immediately stop using this website.

1. Online Shopping

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, prices, photographic representations and descriptions of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the appearances, colours, textures or finishes of our products that appear on the website. What you see will depend on your monitor and computer equipment, we are therefore unable to guarantee that the product images are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise. In addition, due to the nature of the hand making processes used in our products, the final product may change slightly. Please refer to our Returns Policy if you are unhappy with your purchase.

We will not be liable for any reason if the www.donnta.com website is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of, or, the entire www.donnta.com website.

Before proceeding with an order, you will be required to show that you have read and understood the following terms and conditions. We recommend that you print a copy of these Terms and Conditions for your future reference.

This website is the property of Donnta. All material on this website is copyright to Donnta, and is provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not use this website for any commercial purpose.

3. Products and Pricing

We take every care to ensure that product descriptions are accurate at the time of uploading products to the website. We reserve the right to withdraw any product from the website without any prior notification. We also reserve the right to amend prices of products without prior notification.

Our products are priced in Euro. When paying by credit card this is the amount, along with the required postage amount, which will be deducted from your debit or credit card. When purchasing products with sterling or other currencies, debit or credit cards, the exchange rates will be set by the cardholder’s bank. These rates fluctuate on an hourly & daily basis. For further information, cardholders should contact their bank as exchange rates are not applied by this website. All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT.

4. Ordering Goods

When an order is placed on our website, you will receive an email to acknowledge your order. It will confirm which products you have ordered, but it may not constitute an acceptance of your order. You will receive a second email from us acknowledging your order has been accepted and dispatched with a tracking number, where applicable.
Non-acceptance of your order, even after ordering, may be due to a number of reasons, ranging from, but not exclusive to: the product being out of stock, to our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment, system error, product pricing error, unsupported shipping area, fraud risk or description error, among others.

All products are subject to availability. Our display of products on our website is an invitation and not an offer to sell those goods to you.

Due to the handmade nature of our products the maximum order quantity is restricted to 6 items. This may be increased if you contact us directly at customerservice@donnta.com

Items may not be resold.

We reserve the right to refuse any order.

Important Note: Our billing system will only accept orders where the billing address and the shipping address are the same. This is to prevent instances of fraud.

If products that you order are out of stock, subject to a delay, or the price is higher than that shown on your order, we will try to contact you at the email address you provided when placing your order. If we cannot contact you or receive no response to our email, we will continue to process any remaining products on your order. We will not supply a replacement product without your authorisation. If you would like to cancel your order please see the returns section of our policy.

5. Shipping

We currently deliver within the EU, USA, Canada, Australia and a number of other countries. If your country is not identified on the checkout page, please send us an email (customerservice@donnta.com) and we will do our best to arrange a delivery to your location.

We offer FREE delivery on purchases over €49 to orders destined for Ireland, the UK or Europe. For the rest of the world we offer FREE delivery on orders over €74. All orders received before 2pm Monday to Thursday are typically received by European customers within three to four working days, though it may take longer in some cases depending on weather and seasonal factors. Orders to the USA and Canada may take longer. Orders placed on a Friday and over the weekend will be dispatched on a Monday.

We reserve the right to not ship to countries where postal costs are excessive.

For all parcels dispatched using this method, the recipient will receive a notification email to confirm the goods have been dispatched along with a track and trace number, where applicable. 

When your order is placed we will send you an email to confirm all your details are correct. Once we have dispatched your item(s), you will receive a second email from us noting your delivery information and tracking number, where applicable. You may be required to sign for packages received.
Please note that delivery may take longer during busy periods.

Every effort is made to make deliveries within the estimated timescales, however due to unforeseen factors or events outside our control, we shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within our estimated timescales.

Once items have been delivered to you, you become responsible for loss or damage to the product(s).

For larger quantities, orders may be received in separate deliveries or/and packages.

For items which you are returning to us, you are responsible for that shipping. More details on returns can be seen in our refund policy.

6. Returns Policy

The Returns and Exchange Policy described below only applies to online purchases made through our website.

Returns: 14 days after receipt of goods, buyers only pays for return shipping.

Duties and Taxes
Customers are responsible for any customs charges incurred in the fulfilment of their order.

Cancellations, Refunds and Exchanges
We try to get your order delivered to you as quickly as possible. Therefore, after your order is placed, you will have a very limited time to cancel the order before it is dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched, we are unable to cancel your order. Please contact us at customerservice@donnta.com immediately if you need to cancel an item. When you receive your item, you can return it. You will receive a full refund which covers the purchase price and original shipping, but you will have to pay for the return shipping.

We will refund any item(s) you are not completely happy with if you return them to us within 14 days of the item(s) being delivered to your nominated address. The item(s) should be in their original condition, unused and in their original packaging. The cost of return posting will be your responsibility and borne by you and we suggest you do so by registered post.

Following inspection of the received goods an email shall be sent confirming receipt and you will be refunded the amount due through the original method of payment - i.e. the purchase price and original shipping. Items returned to us that are not in an acceptable condition in accordance with our returns policy will not be processed for a refund.

We do not currently offer exchanges for online purchases. Once your parcel is sent back to us, it will be processed as a return and submitted for a refund to the payment method used to place the order.

All returns must include return cards (invoices). If you have lost your return card (invoice), please contact us to request a re-issued copy. Please note that this process may take some time during high volume or peak seasons. Alternatively, you can also use your 'Shipped Confirmation' email by printing a copy and including it in your return package to our warehouse. Note: This invoice or confirmation email simply allows us to identify who sent the returned item so that we can correctly refund the customer.

Items are your responsibility once delivered to you until the returned items arrive back with us. Please take good care of them!

Make sure your parcel is packed securely and cannot be damaged on its way back. It is your responsibility to return the item to us in the same condition it was delivered to you in.

We strongly recommend that you obtain proof of postage and tracking with the service you choose to use. Lost returns shipped without the use of a tracking number will not be refunded.

Where promotional discounts are applied to orders, in the event of a return or cancellation, you will not be refunded the discounted portion. Additionally any complimentary promotional gift given with an order must also be returned if you are returning those goods to which the gift related.

You should expect to see the refund in your account within 14 days from receipt of this email; however some banks may take longer. If you have not received this money into your account after 14 days you should contact us at customerservice@donnta.com

Settling Disputes – Online Dispute Resolution
We aim to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchase and service given by our customer service team. However if for any reason you are unhappy, please email us at customerservice@donnta.com and we will aim to resolve the matter immediately. You can also submit your complaint to an online dispute resolution process operated by the European Commission by clicking on this link. This will take you to the Online Dispute Resolution website which is an official website managed by the European Commission dedicated to helping consumers and traders resolve their disputes out-of-court.

7. Gift Vouchers/Gift Cards

Gift vouchers/gift cards purchases will be dispatched to the email address specified in the checkout page.

Gift vouchers/gift cards cannot be returned once purchased and cannot be exchanged for cash or other gift cards. Gift vouchers/gift cards purchased on our website can be used as a form of payment only on our website.

We cannot take responsibility for any gift vouchers/gift cards that are lost, deleted, stolen or used by someone other than the recipient after delivery. Make sure the recipient has received the gift voucher, as it is their responsibility to keep the gift vouchers/gift cards safe.

A message can be written with any gift vouchers/gift cards purchased. This feature is available for personal use only and is strictly non-commercial. We do not take responsibility for the contents of messages communicated by you to a third party, nor are we responsible for the contents of a message which you may receive in a gift vouchers/gift cards message. When you use this facility you agree that your message will not include any content that could be construed as racist, defamatory, obscene, abusive, offensive, vulgar, harassing, threatening, or which could cause embarrassment or distress to any person or business entity. You agree not to impersonate any person, including but not limited to any of our employees or customers.

8. Promotional Discounts

Coupons, discounts, postage rates and promotional discount codes offered by Donnta are valid only as part of a purchase made on www.donnta.com

9. Member’s Accounts and Security

Setting up an account on www.donnta.com will require that you use an email address and password. It is essential that you use a strong password which is at least 15 characters long and that the details of your account remain confidential to only you at all times. All actions which occur under your account and password are your responsibility solely. You agree to notify us immediately at customerservice@donnta.com if any unauthorised use occurs or if any break in security or misuse of service occurs on your account. You agree to exit your account at the end of each session. You agree that we are not responsible for any liability, loss or damage resulting from misuse of your account.
